Anthony Wright has been my piano technician for the last 2 1/2 years and I don't know how I lived without him!  I have a Steinway that was "hurt" unintentionally by another piano tuner, and through that horrendous time, a great thing happened...the find of Anthony.  He nursed my baby back to health and since my piano not only has had several tunings, but also a regulation and voicing to bring it as close to factory-new condition as possible.
 
Not only is Anthony a great piano technician, but he is trust-worthy and a great listener. Even before I or my piano had a chance to meet Anthony in person, I had the opportunity to talk to him by phone. After speaking with him, I told my husband, "I feel better already and he hasn't even worked on my piano!"  I call Anthony my "piano whisperer".

Anthony Wright recently finished a total action and hammer replacement on my 1968 Steinway Model B piano using new Steinway parts. The result is an instrument of exceptional sensitivity, versatility and power. Especially notable was how effectively Anthony translated my desires of sound and touch into reality. Hi Joe,

I just wanted to thank you for sending out the email about Anthony Wright, along with your recommendation about his work as a piano technician.

Anthony has just completed extensive work on my 1922 Steinway, Model L, and it now sounds and plays better than it did when I first bought it in the mid eighties. I couldn't be more pleased. Keys no longer are sluggish, the action is fluid - it is just a pleasure to play it again. He tended to every miniscule detail in the voicing and regulation and the myriad of little adjustments that have added up to the piano being at its best. And, as you said, Anthony is a nice guy.

So - I hope you will feel free to pass this along to those in your group email for the chorale and others who may be looking for someone to work on their pianos - from tuning to repairs and restoration.
